It is jointly funded by Shenzhen Investment Holdings (a Fortune Global 500 company), SHUM YIP GROUP, and Futian Investment Holdings, with a registered capital of 10 billion yuan. The company is positioned as a state-owned enterprise (SOE) serving the national science and technology innovation strategy, a comprehensive channel for connecting with the Hong Kong park, and a market-oriented entity specializing in the development and operation of the Zone.

Planning, Developing and Operating a Full-chain Platform Enterprise

Since its establishment, the company has innovatively complied and implemented major plans and programs such as the Investment and Financing Plan for Shenzhen Park, Integrated Implementation Plan for Shenzhen Park and Urban Design Scheme for Huanggang Port Area. It has developed and constructed approximately 600,000 square meters of science and technology innovation (sci-tech) space, including the Hetao Innovation Center, Hetao Alpha, and Hetao Center. Additionally, it operates and serves about 500,000 square meters of sci-tech parks, such as the Shenzhen-Hong Kong International Science and Technology Park, and over 200 research institutions. This has enabled a comprehensive layout of the Park’s innovation ecosystem and leveraged the company’s role as a platform for the exchanges with Hong Kong for collaborative development.Currently, the company has preliminarily established a market-oriented business model of “landlord + shareholder + housekeeper,” evolving from a development and construction-oriented enterprise to a full-chain platform enterprise involving planning, construction, and operation.
